The Vaessen Pioniers completed a sweep over ADO with a 10-2 victory on Sunday afternoon. They overcame an early 0-2 deficit and scored five runs in the sixth to blow things wide open. Nik Gumeson doubled and drove in four. Mark Duursma and Norbert Lokhorst scored three runs apiece. Lars Huijer (W) issued five hits, two runs (1 ER) and three bb in six innings. Quincy Lambertina (L) surrendered three hits, five runs and nine walks in 5 2/3 innings.

DOOR Neptunus also won its third game in three days against UVV, defeating them by a score of 8-4. The 1-to-3 hitters in the lineup of the defending Hoofdklasse champion Eugene Kingsale, Benjamin Dille and Raily Legito went a combined 9-for-15 with three doubles, six runs and three RBI. Jeff Arends drove in three. Fausto Alvarez hit a solo homerun for UVV, scored twice and picked up two RBI. Tim Roodenburg (NEP) gave up six hits, four runs and three bb in four innings. Craig Anderson (W) got the win after four innings of scoreless no-hit relief. Jurjen van Zijl (L) conceded eleven hits, seven runs (6 ER) and a walk in 4 2/3 innings.
Sparta/Feyenoord Rotterdam – L&D Amsterdam Pirates 6-4

Sparta/Feyenoord overcame deficits of 0-2 and 2-4 to stun L&D Amsterdam 6-4 on Sunday afternoon. Three runs in the seventh, including two by a double of Arthur Bonevacia, gave Rotterdam the lead for good. Amsterdam had 13 hits in the game, but managed just four runs. Gregory Gustina (W) went the distance, allowing 13 hits, four runs (3 ER) and two bb. He struck out three. Ben Grover (AMS) gave up four hits, two runs (1 ER) and three walks in six innings. Rik Geestman (L) took the loss in relief.
Mr. Cocker HCAW – Corendon Kinheim 4-8 (10)

On the brink of suffering a sweep against Mr. Cocker HCAW, Corendon Kinheim tied the game on Sunday in the eighth to force extra innings, where they scored four runs to seal an 8-4 victory. Jason Halman and Rodney Michel hit two-run doubles during the game-winning rally. Michel reached base five times and drove in four. Nick Veltkamp (KIN) allowed five hits, four runs (1 ER) and three bb in 6 1/3 innings. Kevin Roovers (HCA) got the start for HCAW, issuing two hits, two runs (1 ER) and two walks in two innings. Nick Stuifbergen (W) received the win, Kyle Ward (L) the loss.
