For the third time since Thursday ADO and Almere played a one-run game, which was decided in the late innings. The Magpies prevailed 4-3 after scoring two runs in the top of the tenth on a RBI single by Sytse Visbeen and a RBI double by Mitchell Graham. The club from The Hague only was able to cut the deficit to a run, when Berti Richardson scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the frame. They stranded a runner on second to end the game.
Almere had erased a 0-2 gap in the top of the ninth, when Giovanni Samboe hit a two-run homerun with no outs. ADO had put a run on the board in each the fourth and seventh frame, one on a RBI single by Matt Ryan and the other on a wild pitch. Dennis Burgersdijk (ALM) allowed two unearned runs on seven hits in six innings. Jurrian Koks (ADO) issued eight hits, two runs and a walk in 8 1/3 innings. Scott Ronnenbergh (W) received the win, Jurandy Grigori (L) the loss.

Kinheim completed the sweep against Sparta/Feyenoord thanks to a one-out walk-off RBI single by Rene Cremer in the bottom of the ninth with a 2-1 win on Sunday. Corendon had tied the game in the bottom of the sixth, when Rafael Jozefa was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded. Rotterdam led since a RBI fielder’s choice by Calvin Martinus in the second. Patrick Beljaards (KIN) gave up five hits and a run in 6 2/3 innings. Tim Roodenburg (SPA) was charged with three hits, a run and two bb in six innings. Nick Stuifbergen (W) picked up the win, Berry Donselaar (L) the loss.
L&D Amsterdam Pirates – Konica Minolta Pioniers 3-2

L&D Amsterdam avoided a sweep against the Pioniers with a 3-2 victory on Sunday. The Pirates took the decisive lead in the bottom of the sixth when Sidney and Bas de Jong scored on a fielder’s choice groundball by Vince Rooi in combination with an error by shortstop Shurty Tremus. Konica Minolta tried to come back in the ninth, but only managed a sac fly by Jakub Malik to cut the deficit to 2-3. Both starters Ben Grover (AMS) and Shane Gnade (PIO) gave up one run on five hits in five innings. Rob Cordemans (W) received the win after three innings of scoreless relief. Nelson Santander (L) took the loss.
DOOR Neptunus – Mr. Cocker HCAW 13-7

DOOR Neptunus defended its perfect 8-0 record and completed a sweep over Mr. Cocker HCAW on Sunday with a 13-7 win. However it wasn’t easy. The club from Rotterdam started with two two-run innings to go in front 4-2 after the second, but HCAW answered with five runs in the third. But Neptunus wasn’t shocked at all and countered with a six-run rally in the bottom of the frame to regain the lead. They added three more insurance runs later on to seal the victory.
Eugene Kingsale went 4-for-4 with a homerun, two runs scored and three RBI. Raily Legito, Eldrion Regina and Martijn Meeuwis also scored twice. Adrian Anthony crossed the plate two times and drove in two for Mr. Cocker. Kevin Heijstek (W) surrendered nine hits, seven runs (6 ER) and a walk in five innings, but still got the win. Joey Eijpe (L) issued nine hits and eight runs (7 ER) in two-plus innings to take the loss.
