The Vaessen Pioniers celebrated a 9-0 shutout over ADO in The Hague on Saturday in the Dutch Hoofdklasse. Eddie Aucoin (W) went the distance, allowing just five hits in nine dominating innings. He struck out ten and faced just 32 batters, five over the minimum. Mark Duursma drove in three. Jefferson Muzo scored four times. Jurandy Girigori (L) surrendered eight hits, four runs and three bb in 5 2/3 innings.

DOOR Neptunus scored four runs in the fourth and five in the sixth en route to an 11-2 victory over UVV. Eldrion Regina went 4-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBI. Eight of the nine players in the starting lineup scored, seven had extra base hits. Kevin Heijstek (W) allowed just one hit, two runs and five walks in 6 2/3 innings. Timo van Ancum (L) was charged with five runs on eight hits in four frames.

L&D Amsterdam needed a sac fly by Sidney de Jong in the bottom of the tenth inning to defeat Sparta/Feyenoord 2-1 on Saturday. Rotterdam had tied the contest in the top of the ninth thanks to a solo shot by Quintin De Cuba. The Pirates had led since Percy Isenia scored in the bottom of the fourth on a dropped flyball. Jurrian Koks (W) got the win in relief. Bobby Carrington (L) went the distance to take the loss. He issued six hits, two unearned runs and five bb in 9 2/3 innings. He struck out nine.
Corendon Kinheim – Mr. Cocker HCAW 1-11 (7)

After coming from behind on Thursday, Mr. Cocker HCAW stunned Corendon Kinheim again, this time by scoring seven times in the first three innings en route to an 11-1 rout in seven. Adrian Anthony went 3-for-3 with a triple, a double and four RBI. Bart Sabel scored three times. Kevin Miner (W) gave up five hits, a run and two walks in seven innings. Duko Jansen (L) conceded eight hits, seven runs and three bb in 2 2/3 innings.
