Well, DOOR Neptunus should consider sending a complaint to Mister-Baseball. Just a few hours after publishing a poll for the undefeated teams in European Baseball, L&D Amsterdam ended the streak of the reigning Dutch champion. A walk-off RBI double by Roeland Henrique Jr. in the bottom of the twelfth ended the winning streak of Neptunus after ten games and gave the Pirates a 3-2 win on Thursday night in the Hoofdklasse.
L&D Amsterdam had evened the score in the bottom of the ninth to force extra innings. Sidney de Jong scored, when shortstop Jeroen Sluijter threw the ball away after a groundball by Zair Koeiman. Sidney de Jong already had tied the game in the bottom of the sixth with a RBI single, but Neptunus answered right away and regained the lead when Marvin Bleij scored on an error by left fielder Henrique. Raily Legito had scored the first run in the fourth, also on an error.
Dushan Ruzic (NEP) struck out eight in eight innings, allowing three hits, a run and three walks. Ben Grover (AMS) issued six hits, two unearned runs and a bb in 6 1/3 innings. Al Morales received the win, Jorian van Acker the loss.
ADO – Konica Minolta Pioniers 10-9 (8)

ADO scored in each of the first five frames en route to a stunning 10-9 win over the Pioniers. Konica Minolta tried to come back, scoring two runs in the sixth and three in the eighth, but the curfew rule (no new innings will be started at 11pm) robbed them of another chance to tie the game in the ninth. Matt Ryan homered, scored twice and drove in two for the club from The Hague. Frans Richardson and Jeroen Stentler also crossed the plate twice. Mark Duursma and Jeffrey de Vrieze combined to drive in four for the Pioniers. Jefferson Muzo scored three times. Jurrian Koks (W) issued eight hits, six runs (5 ER) and two bb in five innings. Jurjen van Zijl (L) allowed seven hits, seven runs (6 ER) and two walks in 2 2/3 innings.
Sparta/Feyenoord Rotterdam – Almere Magpies 3-8

Tim Roodenburg (SPA) no-hit the Magpies through six innings, allowing just an unearned run on four walks. But when he left in the seventh the floodgates opened and Almere erased a 1-3 deficit by scoring six runs on its way to an 8-3 win. Giovanni Samboe and Wesley Bernadus had two RBI each. Sytse Visbeen and Siegert Flaneur scored twice. Scott Ronnenbergh picked up the win after four innings of brilliant relief, giving up just one hit and two walks, while striking out seven. Herman Gaarman took the loss.
Corendon Kinheim – Mr. Cocker HCAW 2-0

David Bergman allowed just a second inning double to Randy Daal and two walks in seven scoreless innings in a 2-0 shutout of Kinheim over HCAW. He struck out nine. The best chance for Mr. Cocker to come back came in the ninth. After Nick Veltkamp struck out the side in the eighth, closer Michiel van Kampen put two runners on second and third with two outs, but got Mitchel Koot to ground out to end the game. Jason Halman and Rodney Michel scored the lone runs of the game in the first two frames. Joey Eijpe took the loss after seven innings, seven hits, two runs (1 ER) and three bb.
