The North East Knights celebrated their second win of the season on Thursday, defeating Novara United 7-2. Danilo Sanchez, Stefano Naldoni and Giovanni Bottaro picked up two RBI apiece. Rodney Rodriguez (W) allowed just one run on six hits and a walk in six innings. Renny Duarte (L) issued nine hits, six runs and a bb in 4 2/3 frames.

T&A San Marino moved into sole possession of first place in the Italian Baseball League with a 6-4 victory over Cariparma Parma on Thursday. After the Titans overcame an early 0-3 deficit Lorenzo Avagnina broke a 3-3 tie with a solo homerun in the sixth. A RBI single by Jairo Ramos and a run after an error in the eighth sealed the deal. Riccardo Suardi had tied the contest with a two-run double in the fourth. Henry Bonilla (W) conceded six hits, three runs and a walk in 6 2/3 innings. Marco Grifantini (PAR) gave up four hits, three runs (2 ER) and five bb in 4 1/3 innings. Justin Cicatello (L) took the loss.
