Down 0-7 midway through the eighth the odds were against Corendon Kinheim. But 13 runs in the bottom of the frame lifted them to a 13-7 comeback win over a stunned UVV. The club from Haarlem sent 18 batters to the plate in the inning, which was highlighted by a two-run triple and a three-run double by Rene Cremer. The rally also featured three errors, three bases loaded walks and three pitching changes. Shurty Tremus once again dominated for UVV, going 5-for-5 with a double and two runs scored. Patrick Beljaards (W) got the win in relief, Sedley Karel (L) the loss.
Mr. Cocker HCAW – Sparta/Feyenoord Rotterdam 3-5 (11)

Sparta/Feyenoord Rotterdam broke a 3-3 tie in the top of the eleventh inning in a 5-3 win over Mr. Cocker HCAW on Saturday afternoon. Each team had scored three times in the first five frames, but couldn’t do anything afterwards until the second extra inning. Juan Gonzalez drove in two for Mr. Cocker. Bobby Carrington (W) went eleven innings, allowing six hits, three runs (2 ER) and three bb. He struck out eleven. Moises Melendez (L) also collected eleven Ks, allowing five hits, two unearned runs and a walk in 7 2/3 innings for otherwise strong relief. Dennis Burgersdijk had received the start for HCAW.

DOOR Neptunus crushed ADO on Saturday afternoon in The Hague with a 16-0 shutout. On the mound Craig Anderson (W) and Kevin van Veen combined to hold ADO to four hits and a walk in seven scoreless innings. At the plate Dwayne Kemp went 4-for-5 with three runs and three RBI. Benjamin Dille collected three hits, four runs and four RBI. Tom Brice and Mourik Huijser had three-hit games as well. Jurandy Girigori (L) conceded ten hits, ten runs (8 ER) and three bb in 3 1/3 innings.
Vaessen Pioniers – L&D Amsterdam Pirates 10-5

Despite handing out 16 hits and leading 5-1 midway through the seventh, L&D Amsterdam missed out the sweep, as the Vaessen Pioniers rallied for nine runs in the bottom of the seventh for a 10-5 win. Norbert Lokhorst and Jefferson Muzo had two-run hits in the frame. De Flanegin crossed the plate twice. Wesley Connor had homered for the Pirates. Eddie Aucoin (PIO) issued twelve hits and five runs in 6 1/3 innings. Ben Grover (AMS) gave up five hits, five runs (4 ER) and two bb in 6 1/3 frames as well. Shane Gnade (W) got the win, Al Morales (L) the loss.
