Corendon Kinheim also won game two of its series against ADO, 11-4 on Saturday afternoon. They scored fast and often, leading 6-0 midway through the fifth. Four runs in the eighth blew things wide open after the club from The Hague had cut the deficit in the bottom of the fifth. Bryan Engelhardt and Rodney Michel homered and combined for four RBI. Gyenuar Lopez went 3-for3 with a walk and a RBI for ADO. Duko Jansen (W) issued three runs (2 ER) on eight hits in six innings. Nick Martin (L) surrendered four hits, six runs and four bb in six innings.

L&D Amsterdam won its fourth game of the season, crushing Mr. Cocker HCAW 14-2 on Saturday. Six runs in the second and five in the fourth decided things early. Five players crossed the plate twice. Bas de Jong and Vince Rooi combined for six RBI. Randy Daal scored both runs for Mr. Cocker. Jos de Jong (W) allowed four hits, a run and two walks in six innings. Dennis Burgersdijk (L) gave up five hits, seven runs and three bb in 1 1/3 innings.

DOOR Neptunus shut out Sparta/Feyenoord Rotterdam for a second consecutive game, this time by a score of 10-0. Kevin Heijstek (W) pitched a gem, issuing just three hits and a walk in seven scoreless innings. He struck out eight. Benjamin Dille, Rien Vernooij and Shaldimar Daantji picked up two RBI apiece. Gregory Gustina (L) surrendered seven runs (1 ER) on ten hits and a bb in 5 2/3 innings.

Eddie Aucoin (W) pitched eight strong innings in his season debut and led the Vaessen Pioniers to a 3-0 shutout over UVV. He gave up just six hits and a walk, while striking out three. A RBI double by Linoy Croes in the second got Hoofddorp the lead. Two balk calls in the eighth against reliever Sedley Karel led to two more runs. Jurjen van Zijl (L) gave up six hits, three runs (1 ER) and a walk in 6 1/3 innings.
