Former Major Leaguer Josh Phelps hit a no-out, two-run, walk-off homerun in the bottom of the ninth to lead Telemarket Rimini to a 6-5 win over T&A San Marino, evening the series. Giovanni Pantaleoni had put the Titans in front in the top of the frame with a solo shot over the left field fence. Jairo Ramos scored three times for the guests in the back and forth battle. Ivan Granados (SMA) issued three hits, two runs and five walks in 4 1/3 innings. Enorbel Marquez-Ramirez (RIM) gave up six hits, two runs and four bb in six innings. Panagiotis Sikaras (W) got the win, Gregory Palanzo (L) the loss.

Danesi Nettuno scored five runs in the top of the seventh en route to a 5-3 win over Unipol Bologna on Friday in the Italian Baseball League. Kelly Ramos, Enzo Sanna, Renato Imperiali and Ennio Retrosi had RBIs during the rally. Julio Ramirez and Daniele Malengo had three hits apiece for Bologna. Jose Estebin Cruz (NET) conceded seven hits, two runs and two walks, starting in place of Kris Wilson. Fernando Gutierrez received the win in relief. Jesus Matos (L) surrendered three runs on five hits in 6 1/3 innings.

Rodney Rodriguez (L) was charged with five hits, six runs and three bb in four innings.

Jean Toledo (L) surrendered eight hits, five runs (4 ER) and five walks in 4 1/3 innings.
