DOOR Neptunus also won game two of their series with last year’s runner up Konica Minolta Pioniers. They scored four runs in the first three innings en route to a 6-2 win in Hoofddorp. Diegomar Markwell pitched 5 1/3 innings for the win, allowing five hits, two runs and three walks. Eugene Kingsale had a pinch hit two-run single in the eighth. Eddie Aucoin took the loss after seven innings, six hits, four runs (3 ER) and two bb.
Sparta/Feyenoord Rotterdam – L&D Amsterdam Pirates 2-11

The Pirates scored in each of the last five innings in an 11-2 victory in Rotterdam. Zair Koeiman went 4-for-5 with two RBI. Wesley Connor, Kenny Berkenbosch and Bas de Jong scored two runs apiece. Jos de Jong struck out seven batters in six scoreless innings for the win. He issued just four hits and four walks. Gregory Gustina was charged with the loss after giving up eleven hits, six runs (2 ER) and a bb in 5 2/3 innings.
ADO – Corendon Kinheim 0-16 (7)

With the help of a whopping eight errors by the ADO defense, Kinheim crushed the club from The Hague 16-0 in seven innings. Jason Halman and Tjerk Smeets combined for eight RBI. Remco Draijer and Niels de Weert crossed the plate four times each. Duko Jansen picked up an easy win, allowing just four hits in five shutout innings. Ludwin Obispo surrendered six hits, eight runs (3 ER) and two walks in 3 1/3 innings.
Almere Magpies – Mr. Cocker HCAW 3-7

Mr. Cocker HCAW picked up a 7-3 win in Almere on Saturday evening. They took a fast 4-0 lead through three innings and stopped a rally by the Magpies right in time. Randy Daal went 3-for-5 with two doubles and three RBI. Kevin Miner issued five hits and four walks in four scoreless innings. Robin van Eis replaced him and received the win. Sten van den Bedem took the loss, giving up six hits, four runs (3 ER) and two bb in 2 1/3 innings.
