Mr. Cocker HCAW overcame a 0-4 deficit against Sparta/Feyenoord Rotterdam on Thursday to win 5-4 thanks to a one-out RBI fielder’s choice by Wuilliuans Vasquez in the bottom of the ninth. They had tied the game with two runs in the seventh. Joran Klarenbeek (HCA) allowed ten hits and four runs in 3 1/3 innings. Tim Roodenburg (SPA) issued eleven hits, four runs (3 ER) and a walk in 6 1/3 innings. Joey Eijpe (W) picked up the win with 5 2/3 innings of scoreless one-hit, one-walk relief. Rensver Jansen (L) took the loss.

DOOR Neptunus used a six-run fifth to blow things wide open in a 10-0 eight-inning win over ADO. Marvin Bleij went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored and three RBI. Danny Rombley drove in two. Diegomar Markwell (W) pitched five scoreless six-hit innings for the win. Ludwin Obispo (L) gave up seven hits, five runs and four bb in 4 1/3 innings.
