T&A San Marino used a two-run double by Laidel Chapelli in the top of the eighth to beat Telemarket Rimini 5-4 on Thursday evening in the Italian Baseball League. The Italian national teamer capped the comeback for the Titans, which trailed 0-4 after three innings. Overall he went 3-for-4 with three RBI. The other key to the win was another strong performance by Darwin Cubilan (W), who allowed just one hit and two walks in five scoreless relief innings. Dushan Ruzic (L) took the loss in relief for Rimini.

Unipol Bologna rallied from a 0-2 deficit to defeat Danesi Nettuno 3-2 in 11 innings in front of 1,200 fans at the Steno Borghese Stadium in Nettuno. Juan Carlos Infante scored the winning run in the second extra inning on a single by Joe Mazzuca. They had tied the game on an error in the ninth. Jesus Matos (BOL) issued two unearned runs on eight hits in seven innings. Kris Wilson (L) gave up three hits, an unearned run and no walks in 7 1/3 innings. Victor Moreno (W) got the win, Carlos Pezzullo (L) the loss.
