Nada SSM Split celebrated its second ten-run rule shortened win at the Qualifier European Cup in Athens, Greece. Against Beograd 96 they scored six runs in the first en route to a 12-2 victory. Racic tripled and drove in four. Matko Dabo (W) went the distance to take the win. Slobodan Bogdanovic took the loss.
Buffaloes Blagoevgrad – Athletics Alexandria 5-2
The Buffaloes Blagoevgrad entered the stage in Athens on Tuesday with a 5-2 win over the Athletics Alexandria. They answered two early runs by Alexandria with five runs of their own to seal the deal after the second. Andonov and Angelov combined for four RBI. Serbanescu collected three hits for the A’s. Evgenii Chernozemsky (W) struck out eight in nine innings for the win. Ciprian Fetcu (L) punched out nine in eight frames, but still was charged with the loss.
