2011 Season: Except for an end-of-season call-up to the Triple-A team in Rochester, the 23-year-old right-handed pitcher Tom Stuifbergen spent his fourth active season in professional baseball in High-A, playing for the Fort Myers Miracle in the Florida State League. He went 6-9 with an ERA of 4.29 in 24 games (23 starts) overall. He collected 88 strikeouts and 23 walks in 93 2/3 innings. In October he helped the Dutch national team winning the IBAF Baseball World Cup, being named best pitcher with an ERA of 0.00 in 17 innings pitched in the process.
