2011 Season: After getting a cup of coffee in professional baseball in 2010, Ruben Rijkhof played a total of 45 games for the Atlanta Braves affiliate in the Dominican Summer League. He batted .161/.323/.185 with three doubles, ten runs and eight RBI. For his home club Tenerife Marlins in the Spanish Division de Honor the Dutch outfielder batted .262/.377/.400 with two homeruns, a triple, a double, 14 runs and 12 RBI in 18 games.
