Prospects in 2009 – Mike Bolsenbroek – Williamsport Crosscutters



During the winter months we are going to look back at the performances of Europeans, who played in the United States during the 2009 season.

Birth date: 03/11/1987 in Santa Ana, California, United States
Throws/Bats: Right/Right
Organization: Philadelphia Phillies
Position: Pitcher

2009 Season: Mike Bolsenbroek started his second professional season again in the Gulf Coast League, pitching in relief for the Phillies affiliate. He went 2-2 with an ERA of 2.03 in 16 games and 30 strikeouts (14 walks) in 31 innings. In September he was promoted to the Williamsport Crosscutters of the NY-Penn League and allowed three hits, one run and a walk in 4 2/3 innings through two games, striking out six.
