Prospects in 2009 – Jeroen de Haas – AZL Mariners



During the winter months we are going to look back at the performances of Europeans, who played in the United States during the 2009 season.

Birth date: 01/01/1991 in Alkmaar, Netherlands
Throws/Bats: Right/Right
Organization: Seattle Mariners
Position: Pitcher

2009 Season: In his second professional season Jeroen de Haas split time between the Rookie affiliates of the Seattle Mariners in the Appalachian League and the Arizona Summer League. With the Pulaski Mariners he made three appearances and allowed six runs on eleven hits and two walks in 6 2/3 innings, striking out three. For the AZL Mariners he had a 1-0 record and an ERA of 12.08 in eleven games. He struck out eight in 12 2/3 innings, walking four.
