22-year-old infielder Jurickson Profar of the Texas Rangers has concluded his stint in the Arizona Fall League with a participation in the Championship Game on Saturday. His Surprise Saguaros lost 4-6 against the Scottsdale Scorpions. He appeared in 20 games, batting .267/.352/.453 with two home runs, a triple, six doubles, 11 runs and 20 RBI. He played in only 12 games during the regular season in the Minors due to recovering from a shoulder injury.
Meanwhile fellow Dutch national teamer Roger Bernadina got cut from his Mexican Winter League club according to Honkbalsite.com. The 31-year-old was playing for Yaquis de Obregon and batted only .188/.288/.292 with two home runs, 14 runs scored and nine RBI in 28 games. He got replaced by Justin Greene on the roster of Obregon.
