On Thursday, November 13th at 11am CET in the Villa Madame in Rome, the promotion and organizing committee of the Baseball World Cup 2009 in Italy will hold a press conference and a presentation. They are going to give details about an initiative by the minister for foreign affairs, which has created a board of Baseball World Cup Ambassadors, which has invited representatives of the 22 involved countries.
Besides the chairman of the organizational committee, Mauro Miccio, FIBS president Ricardo Fraccari and CONI president Gianni Petrucci, the presentation will also feature foreign minister Franco Frattini, defense minister Ignazio La Russa, the Mayor of Rome Gianni Alemanno and several other politicians.
