After day two at the Prague Baseball Week 2015 three teams remain undefeated, picking up their second win each.
International Stars – Czech U18 12-1 (7)
For a second straight day the International Stars celebrated a ten-run rule victory. They defeated the Czech Juniors 12-1 in seven innings. They scored ten of their twelve runs between the second and the fourth to run away with the win. Alex Lee of Arrows Ostrava went 4-for-4 at the plate. Przemyslaw Paluch and Kevin Faries had three RBI apiece. Brent Buffa and Rick van Dijck pitched for the Stars. Lukas Trunkat scored the lone run for the Czech.
German U18 – Planet Baseball 6-3
The German Junior National Team, which has been reinforced with a couple of U21 players for the Prague Baseball Week, got its second win in as many days, defeating Planet Baseball 6-3. Germany took a quick 3-0 lead after four innings, but Planet Baseball scored three runs in the sixth on back to back hits by Joe Dattoli and Spencer Muirhead to tie it up. However Germany rebounded right away plating two runs in the bottom half of the same frame and held on to the advantage till the end. Victor Voll scored three runs. Samuel Steigert had two RBI. Eric Harms hit a solo home run. Wolfgang Reitter, Niklas Rimmel and Norman Salzmann took the mound for the U18 squad from Germany.
Czech Republic – GB Lions 7-2
In the evening game the Czech Republic also picked up their second win, defeating the GB Lions 7-2. Five runs in the third gave them an early lead on route to the win. Ivan Aubrecht highlighted the rally with a three-run home run. Brett Rosen drove in both runs for Great Britain. Lucas Ercoli got the start for the Czech squad, Greg Hendrix pitched for the Lions.
