Day two at the Prague Baseball Week 2010 saw the clash between two participants at the upcoming European Championship in Stuttgart, Heidenheim and Neuenburg. The Czech Republic overcame an early 0-3 deficit and beat Croatia 8-4 on Wednesday afternoon. Petr Sila and Matej Sucha had key hits, while Leos Kubat, Marian Gajdos and Radim Chroust took the mound for the Czech team. Michael Lennox was the starting pitcher for Croatia. Later in the evening the Czech Seniors squared off with the Czech Juniors and didn’t allow a surprise, taking a quick 7-1 lead through four innings en route to a 10-4 win. Jan Broz and Daniel Vitek pitched for the Seniors, while Radim Chroust and Jakub Sladek each went 3-for-4. In the other two games Russia scored six runs in the fourth in a 6-5 win over the American team. Andrey Filippov and Alexander Vashakidze hit homeruns. Kyle Allen went 5-for-5 for AIST. Austria had started the day with an 8-5 victory over Israel.
