The best-of-five semi-final series in the Dutch Hoofdklasse are scheduled to begin on Thursday evening. Having the best pitching staff of the four teams and finishing the regular season with a three-game lead in first place, DOOR NEPTUNUS is slightly favored going into the playoffs. But after defeats in each semi-final the Rotterdam-based club played in the last three years, they won’t take their matchup against the finalists of the last years CORENDON KINHEIM lightly. In the second series defending champion L&D AMSTERDAM and KONICA MINOLTA PIONIERS hope to reach the Holland Series.
