Playdowns continue in Germany

With the playoff teams on break, as the German national team is in Canada, playing the World Baseball Challenge, the playdowns continue in the Baseball-Bundesliga. On Saturday the BONN CAPITALS can avoid relegation with one win in two games against the COLOGNE CARDINALS on Saturday. However the CAPS will miss the three starters Tim Henkenjohann (National Team), Martin Amparo (broken arm) and Mirko Heid. In the south, the three teams remain close, but HAAR could make a step forward towards fifth place, as they hope to extend the lead over the GAUTING INDIANS at home.
