Pioneers meet Braves in Belgium

Rain washed out one of the two games between the favored clubs GREYS and PIONEERS on opening weekend, with HOBOKEN winning the 7-2 in the only one. Both now can settle for the ordinary schedule until the rematch in the final round of the top six.

However the PIONEERS face another strong club this week as they clash with the BRAVES, who got two lopsided wins against the promoted CATS on the first game day. MERCHTEM plays versus the BORGERHOUT SQUIRRELS. The BRUSSELS KANGAROOS could fall to the bottom of the standings, while facing the ROYAL GREYS. And the MORTSEL STARS like to stay at the top against the NAMUR ANGELS.

Prediction = Hoboken 2 wins… and they will only lose 2 all year. Unstoppable

And still a bold statement. Especially with the extended schedule. We’ll see.

Greys still will be a contender…. certainly if they will be reinforced with their Canadian and possibly another pitcher …..
Final : Greys-Pioneers and then anything goes !!!!
