Usually European Baseball teams will play only two games each weekend. Due to the European Cup and Qualifier competitions the Hoboken Pioneers and the Port of Antwerp Greys are going to play four games, respective six games over the course of the next eight days. The undefeated Pioneers take on the promoted and surprisingly strong K. Deurne Spartans on Saturday and Sunday before battling with the Greys on Tuesday and Wednesday evening. The Greys will play against the Namur Angels this weekend and versus the Spartans after their meeting with Hoboken. On the other hand it is also a good opportunity for both clubs to stretch out additionally pitchers for the European tournaments.
