Tonight (hopefully) the Phillies and Rays will make another try to finish game five of the 2008 World Series. The score is tied 2-2 in the bottom of the sixth and Philadelphia can win the title, as they lead the best-of-seven series three games to one.
This might be good opportunity to introduce the European audience to the batting stance guy (official website). In clip one you’ll see the batting stances of the Phillies’ Ryan Howard, Pat Burrell, Chase Utley, Jimmy Rollins, Bobby Abreu, Len Dykstra, Darren Daulton, Mike Schmidt, Von Hayes, Greg Luzinski, Shane Victorino, Gary Maddox, Milt Thompson, Bo Diaz and John Kruk.
In the second clip you can check out the stances of the Rays’ Carl Crawford, Evan Longoria Akinori Iwamura, Carlos Pena, BJ Upton, Dioner Navarro, Fred McGriff, Julio Lugo, Wade Boggs, Jorge Cantu, Toby Hall, Aubrey Huff, Rocco Baldelli, Jonny Gomes and Gerald Williams.
Enjoy the clips and the game.
