Parma tries to come back as Italian Series shifts to Bologna

Defending champion UGF Bologna had a perfect start into the 2010 Italian Baseball Series last weekend, taking a 2-0 lead against Cariparma Parma in the best-of-seven series. Fortitudo now can close it out at home, as games three to five will be played in Bologna from Thursday to Saturday.

Fabio Betto, Jesus Matos and Cody Cillo are lined up to take the mound as starting pitchers for Bologna, while Roberto Corradini and Gustavo Martinez are set for Parma in game three and four. The foreigners Matos and Martinez will square on Friday with Corradini and Betto taking the mound tonight. Orlando Munoz (knee, PAR), Juan Camilo (cold, PAR) and Jairo Ramos (wrist, BOL) are a little bit banged up, but are expected to play according to the report on FIBS.it.
