Outfielder Kyle Allen joins Gauting Indians

After the injury to Andy Kropf (dislocated shoulder) a few weeks ago, the German Baseball-Bundesliga club Gauting Indians has added outfielder Kyle Allen to the roster. He is coming from the Georgia College and State University (NCAA Division II). Over there he was a teammate of Martin Dewald, who is playing for the German national team and the Heidenheim Heidekoepfe. Allen batted .367 (OBP .480/SLG .537) with six homeruns, three triples, 13 doubles, 73 runs scored and 41 RBI in 54 games this season.
