Oleksandr Serhiyenko returns to Bundesliga Roster of Alligators

The 27-year-old Ukrainian left-handed infielder Oleksandr Serhiyenko returns into the Baseball-Bundesliga roster of the Solingen Alligators. Due to filled foreign positions and professional reasons he only played for the third-division team of the club the past two years. In 2009 Serhiyenko batted .333 (OBP .569/SLG .436) with 23 runs scored and ten RBI in 16 games, playing second base. Before going to the Alligators in 2005 he played three seasons for the Pulheim Gophers. In his career he has made 62 appearances in the Baseball-Bundesliga for Pulheim and Solingen, batting .213 (OBP .303/SLG .297).
