Number of Fans
Only about 11500 spectators have attended the games of the European Championships so far. Until now there have been 30 games played which makes the average crowd a little over 380 people.
Most fans saw the opener Spain vs. Great Britain (1500) and Spain vs. Italy (1200).
The game Urkaine vs Russia had an unbelivable number of 56 fans watching.
The Netherlands, one of the top 10 teams in the world, played against Sweden in front of 106 people watching.
If one considers that quite a few fans have travelled to Barcelona to see their National Teams there is not very much interest by the local population. Hopefully this will change now as the final round starts.
