Solingen Alligators – Bonn Capitals 9-0, 8-1
German National Team pitcher Enorbel Marquez-Ramirez (photo) wrote Bundesliga history on Saturday and pitched a perfect game in a 9-0 shutout of SOLINGEN against BONN. The Cuban-born southpaw struck out 15 batters. Battery mate was Kai Gronauer, who will join the NEW YORK METS organization soon. The offense was led by shortstop Chris Beck with four hits in four at bats.

The second game was also one-sided with the ALLIGATORS winning 8-1. They took a fast 2-0 lead in the first and continued to score till the end. Beck had a double and a triple. Robin Drache delivered a two-run double. Patrick Kanthak hit an inside-the-parker. Andre Hughes received the win, Martin Amparo the loss.

Cologne Cardinals – Dortmund Wanderers 7-9, 7-6
The WANDERERS overcame a 0-7 deficit and won the first game of the doubleheader 9-7. COLOGNE scored seven runs in the first after a triple by Anderson Alvarez and a homerun by Jens Warrelmann. However it was the last time, they would score. Still you have to win the match. But DORTMUND tied the game through homeruns by Jens Herlitzius und Josh Lively until the seventh. They completed the comeback victory in the ninth.

The second match was the fourth game between these two clubs since Thursday. It was another nail biter. The CARDINALS started strong again and led 5-1 after three frames. But like in game one, the guest team came back. They rallied and tied the contest. But this time, COLOGNE had an answer left and scored the winning run on a hit by Markus Stryczek.

HSV Stealers – Paderborn Untouchables 3-15 (8), 1-5
The UNTOUCHABLES scored 13 of the 15 runs between the sixth and the eighth period and crushed the STEALERS 15-3 in game one of the doubleheader. Eugen Heilmann received the seventh victory of the season. Marcel Brede took the loss.

With the returning Beningo Ozuna back on the mound, PADERBORN won the second match of the afternoon too. He won the pitchers duel against Thomas Haugh. The offense scored three fast runs in the first and added a pair of insurance runs in the end.

Neunkirchen Nightmares – Hanover Regents 2-8, 10-3
Two of the three teams in danger of relegation met this weekend in Neunkirchen and settled for a split. The REGENTS took the first one and used a six-run seventh to win it 8-2. The NIGHTMARES started strong into game two and led already 5-1 after two frames on their way to a 10-3 victory. Both teams advanced one place in the standings and passed the STEALERS, which dropped to last.
