Nick Shay, Timor Kombarov not playing for Bonn Capitals after all

Not only lost the Bonn Capitals their opening game in the 2011 season in the German Baseball-Bundesliga against the Paderborn Untouchables, they already suffered their first defeat a few day prior the first game day. Shortstop Nick Shay and catcher Timor Kombarov are not going to play for the Caps this year. Shay apparently is awaiting trial in the United States and therefore cannot leave the country to travel to Europe. Kombarov is injured.
