Netherlands with no-hitter in first exhibition

The Dutch national team, which is currently in Korea to prepare for the Olympics in Beijing, started their exhibition schedule with a bang. The combination of Leon Boyd, Diegomar Markwell, Michiel Van Kampen and Loek Van Mil no-hit the South Korean club Doosan Bears in a 2-1 victory. Boyd started with three strikeouts in six innings, allowing just one walk. Van Mil allowed the only run on a sac fly in the ninth. Sidney De Jong and Percy Isenia scored the runs for the Netherlands in the second and fifth period.
