Netherlands edges out France in Finals of Yoshida Challenge

The Netherlands won the inaugural Yoshida Challenge in Senart, France. On Tuesday they defeated France 3-2 in the championship game, scoring three late runs to secure the trophy. One day earlier France had stunned the Dutch national team with a 12-8 pounding. With the historic win France had capped an undefeated preliminary phase at the invitational.
