Neptunus brings back Boyd, Bazuin arrives, adds Brice

DOOR Neptunus announced transactions for three players on Monday. Right-handed starting pitcher Leon Boyd is returning to the Netherlands after having played in the Hoofdklasse in 2007, 2008 and 2010. He has a career record of 28-2 with an ERA of 1.14 in 41 games. Also arriving in Rotterdam is Mike Bazuin, who will strengthen the roster following the completion of the college season. Additionally the former minor league outfielder Tom Brice (Chicago White Sox) is bolstering the team for the rest of 2011. The Australian also played in Japan and Taiwan and was a member of the Australian national team in the 2006 and 2009 World Baseball Classics.
