The Belgian First Division club Namur Angels added three players from the Brussels Kangaroos to the 2010 roster. Middle infielder Théodore De Bellefroid, catcher Rémi Gillet and pitcher Cédric Desmedt will play for last year’s fourth-ranked team.
De Bellefroid batted .284 (OBP .368/SLG .345) with four extra base hits, 27 runs scored and twelve RBI in 134 plate appearances this past season. He debuted in the First Division in 2008. Gillet also got his feet wet in 2008, but played his first full season this year. He batted .161 (OBP .212/SLG .204) with a homerun, a double, 15 runs scored and five RBI in 103 plate appearances. Desmedt had a 5-11 record and an ERA of 6.62 in his third season for the Kangaroos. He struck out 75 batters in 122 1/3 innings, while walking 94.
