The Belgian First Division club Namur Angels has signed Gracjan Kraszewski to a three-month contract. He will arrive in early April and leave in early July. In 2009 the switch hitting utility man played third base for Arrows Ostrava in the Czech Extraleague. He batted .330 (OBP .365/SLG .440) with two homeruns, six doubles, eleven runs and 21 RBI.
Before going to the Czech Republic the Dallas, Pennsylvania native attended King’s College in Wilkes-Barre (NCAA Division III). Kraszewski was a catcher and outfielder for the Monarchs, batting .405 (OBP .447/SLG .579) with eight homeruns, 31 doubles, 77 runs and 71 RBI in 90 games through three seasons between 2006 and 2009.
