The team from Moscow won the 2009 Prague Baseball Week after beating the Czech National Team 3-2 in the finals on Saturday evening. The Czech Seniors had reached the finals after a 5-0 shutout over the third-ranked Czech Juniors on Saturday afternoon. Moscow already had clinched the final berth on Friday. Sweden finished in fourth place, while Austria and Croatia were ranked at the bottom of the six-team field.
