After the signings of reliever Anthony FERRARI and outfielder Lorenzo AVIGNINA for 2008, Montepaschi is interested in two more players. They are talking with David ROLLANDINI and Luca PANERATI about contracts for 2008.

PANERATI pitched with Giafi Costruzinoi Rosemar (Serie A2) in Italy. He posted a 3-2 record in eleven games (5 starts) with an ERA of 1.58.

ROLLANDINI, born in Alexandria, Virginia, appeared in 87 minor league games (ERA 4.05) for the Phillies and Astros organizations.
