According to a blog post from the Netherlands the Minnesota Twins have released Loek van Mil after three outings for the Rochester Red Wings. The tall right-hander had just started his second leg of professional baseball last summer, when he got a new minor league contract from the Twins after pitching for Curacao Neptunus Rotterdam in the Dutch Hoofdklasse.
