Mike Bazuin at Power Showcase in Florida

Mike Bazuin of the Dutch Hoofdklasse club DOOR NEPTUNUS took part in the International Power Showcase High School Home Run Derby at the Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida at the beginning of January. He hit one homerun each with a wooden and a metal bat during the competition with distances of about 383, respective 389 feet. The student at the Technical University Delft also received a full scouting report a day before the HR Derby at the Spring Training facilities of the New York Yankees in Tampa. The right-handed third baseman and shortstop threw 87 MPH and ran the 60-yard dash in 7.1 seconds. The clip shows a highlight reel from the Power Showcase.
