Mexico defeats South Africa behind 18 Ks of Campos

Mexico did their job and defeated South Africa 5-0. The pitching staff with starter Francisco CAMPOS gave up just two hits and the offense was led by Karim GARCIA, who hit his first homerun of the tournament.

CAMPOS struck out 18 (!) batters in eight innings for the win.

But the victory was too late. They only can get into a tie for third place, but they lost the duels against Chinese Taipei and Canada. And the tiebreaker in a three-way tie with Australia and Canada is not in their favor.
