Pitcher Matthew MARRONE is going to play for T&A San Marino in the 2008 season. He was a starter for Avigliana in 2007. Both clubs reached an agreement over the loan for him. The Bees had finished in last place of the Serie A1 and had been relegated into the second division in Italy.

MARRONE appeared in 13 games this year with a 2-7 record and an ERA of 3.93. He struck out 41 in 71 innings pitched. He was the only pitcher on the staff of his team with an ERA under 4.00.
