Shairon Martis again pitched in relief on Saturday for the Nationals. Against the Marlins he allowed three hits and two runs in two innings, striking out and walking none. Cameron Maybin went deep. Roger Bernadina started in center field for Washington and batted leadoff. He picked up a single and a run in four at-bats. He also stole his first base of this year’s spring training. For all Stephen Strasburg fans in Europe: the Nationals sent him to Double-A following his latest start on Friday, where he struck out eight in four innings.
