The Spanish Division de Honor club Halcones de Vigo has a new manager. Manuel Garcia is replacing Diego Torres at the helm. Garcia began his baseball career as a player in 1959 with Ateneo Salmantino de Cornella de Llobregat and later played for CB Viladecans, CB Sant Boi, Hercules Les Corts and the FC Barcelona in the Division de Honor. He also was a member of the Spanish National Team for 14 years, appearing in 250 games. Halcones de Vigo had to settle for eighth place in the finals standings of the 2010 season, winning just nine of 36 games.
