Major League Pitcher Rick Van Den Hurk interviewed at European Coach Clinic in Rotterdam

Rick VAN DEN HURK, who was called up into the Major League rotation by the Florida Marlins in 2007, was interviewed at the European Coach Clinic in Rotterdam. VAN DEN HURK started 17 games in the big leagues last summer. He had a 4-6 record with an ERA of 6.83. He struck out 82 in 81.2 innings pitched. His best game was a duel against John SMOLTZ and the Atlanta Braves on June 5, when he beat them with six-plus one-hit innings. At the moment he is slated to start the 2008 season in the rotation in Miami.
