During the all star festivities in Major League Baseball the best prospects in the game get their chance to showcase their talent during the Futures Game. This year the Baseball world meets in St. Louis at the Bush Stadium, home of the 2006 World Series Champion Cardinals. Alex Liddi (SEA) and Juan Carlos Sulbaran (CIN) were named to the roster of the World Team, playing alongside top prospects Jesus Montero (NYY), Dayan Viciedo (CWS) and Neftali Feliz (TEX) against the US Team with Pedro Alvarez (PIT), Josh Vitters (CHC) and Mike Stanton (FLA). Liddi started for the California League all stars this week and went one-for-two, as he team won on a walk off homerun by Jon Gaston in the tenth. Sulbaran was on the roster of the Dutch National Team at the 2009 World Baseball Classic. The Futures Game will be played on July 12. On July 13 the Home Run Derby takes place. The 80th All Star Game is scheduled for July 14.
