At the moment there are some discussions, which project Major League Baseball should support in the future. On the one side there is the plan for a professional Italian Baseball League (IBL) with a franchise system of eight teams, which is supposed to start in 2010. The MLB is expected to decide about the financing till the end of this year. On the other hand, CEB president Martin Miller published a concept for a professional European Baseball League (EBL) in their latest newsletter. The eight best teams in Europe would compete against each other in a four to six week span after the end of the national championships, starting probably in 2011.
So readers from Mister-Baseball.com, which of these two leagues should Major League Baseball support? Vote about it on the front page of MRBB and feel free to discuss the topic in the comment/forum section of our site.
