Jair Jurrjens (W 6-6) and the Braves defeated the Phillies 11-1 on Wednesday evening to improve their record to 37-40. The right-hander started and allowed just one unearned run on one hit and four walks. His no-hit bid ended with a two-out single by Paul Bako in the seventh. He threw 97 pitches, 63 for strikes. He also went one-for-three at the plate, scoring a run. He is batting .156 for the season. He is 6-6 despite a stellar ERA of 2.73. Matt Diaz and Diory Hernandez homered as he received plenty run support this time.
