Jose Ventura returns to Sparta/Feyenoord Rotterdam

The Dominican left-hander Jose Ventura is returning to Sparta/Feyenoord Rotterdam according to a report by Honkbalsite.com. He is scheduled to arrive on Sunday and will be available for the reminder of the season. Last summer he had to leave the Netherlands due to tighter visa regulations. In 2010 he had a 4-8 record with an ERA of 3.28 in 14 games. He struck out 75 in 85 innings. He also collected 20 hits in 24 games for a .270 batting average. Rotterdam is currently in sixth place in the Dutch Hoofdklasse standings, having won four of the first 15 games.
