The Buchbinder Legionaere Regensburg announced the addition of Jose Palacios to the roster for the 2018 season in the German Baseball-Bundesliga. The Argentinian player with Spanish passport is transferring from the Munich-Haar Disciples. The 27-year-old played 85 games for the Disciples in Germany. He also suited up for El Llano in the Spanish Division de Honor. Originally a catcher when arriving in Europe, he is slated to play the outfield with the Buchbinder Legionaere. He is the third true new player in Regensburg this offseason besides Bill Greenfield and Michael Stephan. Also David Dinski, Johannes Jung, Michael Weigl and Eric Harms are returning to the team, while Maik Ehmcke, Eric Faint and Kevin Vance have left.
